About Ray Hubbard Concrete

Flatwork only, priced in writing, poured for this soil.

We’re a concrete crew working out of Rowlett, named for the lake this town wraps around. The trade we practice is deliberately narrow: poured flatworkdriveways, patios, garage and shop slabs, sidewalks and steps. If a call needs a different trade, we say so on the phone and point you somewhere sensible.

The way we quote

Square-foot pricing, measured on site, written down, held. The industry runs thick with numbers that grow between handshake and invoice; ours are boring on purpose. The written quote also says what’s in the job — base, steel, joint plan, cure guidance — because those line items are the actual difference between bids that look identical on price.

Why the soil gets top billing

Everything east of Dallas is built on Blackland Prairie clay that swells and shrinks with the calendar. Concrete here isn’t a commodity pour; it’s a small engineering job where the invisible work decides the lifespan. That’s the standard the crew is held to on a 120-square-foot walkway, same as on a shop floor.
